Brooklyn JOAD Kids Program
Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) is a USA Archery program tailored to introducing, developing, and advancing young archers in the sport. Whether a casual hobbyist or Olympic hopeful, participants benefit from increased confidence and discipline while having fun. JOAD programs across the USA have been successful in having kids put down the iPads and video games. Gotham Archery will run multiple concurrent JOAD programs and is open to teenagers ages 8-20.

Tournament prizes will be announced after all scores are tallied on both days!
Parents and friends are encouraged to come in and cheer on their loved ones! However, we must request that any spectators please be above the age of 10 for safety reasons. There will be refreshments and snacks while the tournament is in progress.
For anyone who does not want to participate in the tournament, and your JOAD day is on Saturday or Sunday, we will be offering a make-up class for anyone who is interested.
Everyone at Gotham Archery is excited to see everyone there! Thank you and if you have any questions please feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org
or at the range directly 718-858-5060.
Your child is expected to be in attendance on his/her assigned day; each day has a limited amount of slots available and we are vigilant about maintaining a specific instructor-student ratio to ensure the best possible training for your child.
If your child must miss a day of JOAD class you get 2 hours credit for lane rental. You will need to email the front desk to schedule a time to come back. email@example.com
Enrollment into the JOAD program is through AUTO-PAY system. Payment is received from the assigned method on the day of enrollment. You must cancel at least 14 days before the start of a given pay cycle. Please email us at JOAD@got-archery.com if you wish to cancel your child’s subscription. Note that after cancellation, your child’s spot will be opened up to anyone else on our waitlist and they will be placed back in the queue should they wish to re-register.
On days where JOAD falls on a holiday and there is no scheduled class, students will be provided with 3 hours of open practice during that same week (does not carry over to future weeks).
Suspensions may be made on a case-by-case basis, and if so valid for only one month. It will be the responsibility of the parent to notify us to re-activate, else the suspension will be treated as a cancellation.
Feel free to contact us if you have any questions/concerns.
